I am currently a Senior Project Manager for Safety Programs at DHL Group - US. In this role, I lead high-visibility projects focused on safety initiatives and programs. I collaborate with teams across the globe and within the region to ensure the consistent, harmonized implementation and execution of various projects.

In my previous role as Senior Manager of Safety for US Operations, I was responsible for overseeing day-to-day compliance, safety programs, and initiatives. I led a team of skilled professionals to ensure that company goals and targets were consistently met year after year. My responsibilities included managing all EHS functions and ensuring full compliance with DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations. Additionally, I handled crisis management situations and led all major investigations to resolution.

In this role as the EHS Sr. Manager, I directed and coordinated the strategic planning, organization, and execution of the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management System, including managing resource allocation and developing new Initiatives. I also planned, implemented, and coordinated initiatives focused on reducing and eliminating occupational injuries, illnesses, and financial losses within the safety program. Served as the liaison to OSHA, DOT, FEMA, and various governing agencies in the region.

As HR and Safety Manager, I developed accident prevention and loss control systems to integrate into the organization’s operational policies. I organized and coordinated training sessions, employee orientations, certifications, and audits/inspections. Additionally, I conducted in-depth investigations of accidents and injuries to minimize financial exposure and identify root causes. I also established a comprehensive training platform to streamline the onboarding process for new hires.
